Which stores are accepted into the Jord Network?
We only accept stores that pass a certain standard in terms of their environmental sustainability. To learn more about our sustainability philosophy and rating system, please visit the About page.
How do you assess brands?
Here at Jord, we use our own sustainability criteria, developed in cooperation with industry experts in order to assess brands. To better understand the points we look at and our methodology, please click here. We accept a variety of brands into our network as we believe sustainability is a journey where every business is at their own stage (every brand must still reach a certain baseline in our criteria). Through this, we are able to provide a wide selection of sustainable alternatives and aim to grow the number of sustainable brands, driven by collective learnings from network stores, our ratings and traffic from Jord shoppers.
Are all your brands 100% sustainable?
Nope, in fact, there is no such thing as a '100% sustainable' brand, as all products require energy and resource inputs. What we can ensure however is that every brand listed on our platform has a lower environmental impact relative to its 'traditional' counterparts.
I have a store recommendation
